The story was very shallow with the exception of AZ's story there was no character development and I'm still annoyed by them being team flare for no reason. No explanation or noticeable reason for that name. Some use fire types, but not all of them, and their mission has nothing to do with fire.

Game is too easy/short Horde Battles None of the old Elite 4 still in their position Champions character personality/design/team/etc. worst pokemon champion throughout the whole series. But I really loved the game despite all that

Charizard just like when the red game came out was my bro, while i tried to keep my team balanced Charizard just couldn't be stopped from standing out. Even without his mega evolution he single handedly destroyed team flare's attempts to thwart me!

Have to agree that it was entirely too quick even without exp share, if you let me have a Garchamp, Slamence, Charizard, Lucario and give me the weakest elite 4 to date with a push over champion i'm going to blow through the game. And I did my best to capture every pokemon I could and explore...

So i've never done the special events before, how do i get the Torchic from the special event?

About to go get the game at midnight where it's being released on the east coast with the special torchic event I plan on my team to consist of Torchic, Squirtle, Chespin!

30 minutes till i go finalize the payment and then 2 hours after that i'll have the game!

Question, I heard that you will be able to begin your journey with both a kanto starter and a x/y starter. Is this true? If it is and you add in the special release event you can have 3 starter pokemon off the bat!
