You should use Pkmns that complete each other. Alakazam and Gengar share the same weakness and are both frail Pkmns: you should get rid of one of them. For your Leading Pkmn, pick either a fast (Aerodactyl) or a sturdy (Swampert, Metagross, Forretress) Pkmn that can set up either Stealth Rock...

It depends. Jolteon and Raikou are great Pkmns, but Electivire can be be deadly with some good strategy and its Motor Drive boost. It can be a pain to get though, if you don't have HG or SS.
