Some, and indeed many who call themselves Christian can, have, and do lose what they have in the church. It's not just a problem that occurs in groups, it's also a personal matter. One may have it, another may not. I think my personal church is one of the lucky ones, in that few or none of the prominent members have lost sight of the purpose of the faith.

Yes. Apparently I know more than you think I know.
I also know that Catholicism is most definitely not the entirety of the past or present Christian community. Certain groups of the Catholic church are also steeped in groundless human tradition and to my knowledge may have lost sight of the spirit of Christianity. Not to say that the same problem doesn't exist outside of Catholicism, but it's very well known within.

Saying that Christians are responsible for the Dark Ages doesn't justify what you posted.

Grouping the entirety of the Christian church with a form of Catholicism popular in the Middle Ages is not a good idea in the possible presence of mixed company (or me, at any rate).
It is indeed an inaccurate, exaggerated, anti-religiously biased generalization.

Just a cop that works around schools. Like he issues citations to parents parking in fire lanes or making illegal u-turns. Also breaks up fights and looks for drugs and stuff.
