Well, my plans were to go to a suburb close to the city centre. This suburb has high-rise flats, so the fireworks are pretty visible. I was planning to meet up with my friend and we'd look at the fireworks from there. My mum said that the flats in that suburb were dangerous at midnight, so she said I could go with her to our family friend's house. I didn't mind that, since I could play all my favourite songs as loud as I wanted and have loads of fun. :3

My dad was planning to take us to the city, something I didn't want to do, since public transport is the only rational way to get to the city on New Year's Eve, and it'd be packed with millions of people (literally). He wanted to take me to the city with a few of his friends.

The plans clearly don't fit together. :[

Well, is it done using something in 'cmd'? He tried to tell us to do something in it, but we weren't able to access it. D:

I'd feel sorry. Still, we never thought about taking the HD to another computer! xD; The next time something like this occurs, we'll just back up all the needed things by taking it to another computer. Superb idea, you gave me. ;D

BTW, My dad just forgot about his administrator password today. He wasn't able to recall it and we were not ready to download the password recovery tool's ISO file that can be used to create a CD which, in turn, can be used to recover the password. We weren't ready to do it coz the ISO was a whooping 500MB in size!! O_o'

Anyways, we tried and tried and I could make a valid guess. Thus, the problem got solved without any sort of loss. =D
