when I pick colors I take more of a diagonal approach instead of straight dow to the next shade.
.Pay attention to where the cursor in the color chooser is in each picture.
.notice when i pick my next shade i go more towards red. if i were to pick a brighter shade I would go more towards orange. this creates more vibrant color in the sprite so it can pop out and the shades can be easily noticed.
.move a little not alot ok.
.One other thing try not to make your outline all black but a dark color close to black.

also heres one tip... that what really makes a sprite pop out is its color

like even though this hack has some bad looks like the dark grass and paths and flowers we should finish this and then make another hack except harder.
