can i get some help <like some links 2 tutorials> for hacking?????

still, he vanished off of here just about when Heartgold and Soulsilver were announced. Heck, one of the catchphrases for Shiny Gold was "Why would we bother about making a remake, if a kid's already doing it for us?" And he won't bother, I mean he does have a job, and a life, maybe he's trying to aim higher than just being well-known on the internet. If so, I say good for him, and I hope one day he works for Nintendo.

Also, if Zel knew he was banned, he would to have signed in on his theZel account.

sad, I liked all the bonus stuff he threw into the mix of Shiny Gold, like Carlos. Well I say any dedicated hackers who loved shiny gold, finish shiny gold for yourselves, just like I intend to do, cuz I've been playing SoulSilver for a week(got it release day and i've gotten all 16 badges) and I have to say that no matter what, Shiny Gold was still like a totally different game and is nothing like HeartGold and SoulSilver because it had a lot of awesome stuff. I'd say the only thing Shiny Gold couldn't quite beat was the PokeGear but Zel substituted with those awesome phonebooths, and I think you should've been able to obtain more cards to have more numbers.

Hey guys, couple of things to clarify: Firstly, youtube threatened to ban this account so I've had to make this new one. Secondly, as you might have guess, there will be no more betas, and I've decided to stop hacking, partly because nintendo released the GSC remake meaning that I didn't see the point in continuing my hack - we all wanted the official nintendo release and my hack was just for kicks if nintendo decided not to release on, also I'm getting a bit old for pokemon and hacking, but I'll never forget my friends here and on pokecommunity. You were all a great help and so I end by saying thank you and goodbye

This is going to sound like a bit of a eulogy but meh,

Zel was the reason I first got interested in pokemon hacks and I only found this site after seeing Shiny Gold on youtube. I was planning to start my own hack when I found the time but since Zel's stopped and left I've lost any motivation I had. Sad to say but No other hack ever has or ever will inspire me like yours did. You were a great hacker and a great person to know and I'll still play your game if I feel like it even though HG and SS have been released, partly because it was a great variation on the classic GSC, but also I'll keep it saved as a happy reminder of my days on here when you were making the game and keeping us updated. Good times

EDIT: Some guy claiming to be Zel posted a message on Zel's youtube profile page claiming he's quit, but now I'm starting to think he's a fake

I'm just wondering, but I think something really bad has happend to Zel. Anyway, I hope not. It's nearly a year now scince he was last active. :\

oh and to nintendonerd95 i find you can edit hacked games when you get a program that fused the hack with the game i dun remember what its called xD haven't done it in for ever but i remember doing it and being able to edit the and see what he did on advance map if that helps o3o then you can just remake it a hack if you re-release it just saying Dx

guys, he's not coming back, why does no one get this? He hasn't been on for almost a year! If you want to finish Shiny Gold for you and yur friends, download advance map and learn how to script. Zel is gone, if he ever comes back, I expect it after the HeartGold and SoulSilver hype decreases.

Dude youre a great hacker and to say it lightly id rather pay to play your game than get HG/SS .

Zel, if you ever read this, Everyone here misses you. Your Shiny Gold game has inspired me. The game had it all, brilliant sprites, brilliant scripts, brilliant everything. But suddenly, HG/SS came out, and sorry to say this but, there is no need for Shiny Gold anymore. The HG/SS system is vast and, no GBA game could ever match it. And the HG/SS news probably filled you up with anger, because it sent all your hard work to zero, and that's probably why you left. But nevertheless, I still believe there is hope for the game, because I dare say it, not even Naranja has given me the sense your game gave me. Feliz cummpleanos tardio y esperamos todos que haiga una ezperanza de que tu regreses, porque shiny gold es el mejor hack que ha juguado en mi vida. :)
