Geez. Sorry about not responding in forever. ^_^;

Haha. Yes. And their storylines aren't that much better, either. Full of WTFery.
Also, aww. Don't worry about those other people, so long as you manage to push through.

Yep. I adore the first book in the trilogy more than the others, though. I don't know. I just find it somewhat more humorous, I think. Still, I'd love to read the rest of his stuff, and I'm not sure what to make of Eoin Colfer as the writer of the sixth book. Admittedly, I haven't heard about it until you mentioned it, which is a travesty, seriously. I'm just not sure how he would be able to continue it. The last book felt pretty definite to me.
Also, I've only read the first Artemis Fowl book. It wasn't so bad, I think.
And you're speaking weird because you're having a fangirl moment. XD

I'll be the judge of whether or not it's crappy. ;D
As for recs, well, I'm releasing the prologue (and maybe first chapter... although the second won't be available for some time because my beta's going to be busy until the end of the month) in four hours -- midnight October 1st over here. You could wait for that, but if not, Midsummer Knights is my other baby, as are my most recent shorts. (I'm particularly proud of Bloom myself. Mostly because I broke my personal record for longest one-shot.)
Have fun, and can't wait to see your stuff. =3
