Same here, only it's Star Fox that was part of my childhood and not Super Mario World. That too, but I didn't play it as often. (Also, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. Best Zelda game ever, in my opinion, and I don't even know why.)

Heck, the majority of the ones I've had were--the result of the AC not working in the vehicle there for a while recently and my apparent inability to wait until I could get them to the fridge for a few before partaking of them. X3 The AC's been fixed since, though, and so I've been able to determine that yes, they're great when they're non-melty, too. <3

Well, there's the "omg cit plzplzplz rite moar none of the other fics in this forum are as good as yours" post by Mr. I Haven't Read A Fic On The FF&W In Months over on Citrinin's thread about whether or not he should do a revamp of his fic, if that doesn't kill it already.

You know, I respect Citrinin and think he's nice, but I really hope he doesn't bring back the FFL-is-a-clique feeling that the entire PMR thing was supposed to squash. Because if it pops up and if everyone just reviews his fic and all the fics in that friends circle while ignoring all the good writers who are coming into this forum again (and for once, I can actually say with sincerity that there are good new-member writers on FF&W... or my standards dropped like lead as of recent), I've got a box of kittens and a baseball bat and no reason to finish this sentence. =|

Ranting aside, awesome. I'll get to work on the thread soon. At the very worst, it'll just go the way of the submit-insane-numbers-of-reviews-to-get-your-story-on-the-list thread. But considering there's actually a number of sane members in the FF&W these days, maybe there's hope for it yet.
