I guess we can consider SG dead seeing as it hasn't been updated for almost 2 years and the author hasn't been active for more then a year. Pity, sg was the best hack.

its been a year and 3 months now......even though the gold and silver remakes are here now he should still be working on another hack no one should quit after one loss :(

Wait, if he's gone, could someone tell me what he'd think of someone using his sprites and crediting him for them? I've ended up working on a Shiny Gold type thing, and hate making overworld sprites.

I only want to use Silver's overworld sprites. The rest I've already made got done.

Why do you talk as though he left straight after posting his last comment? if that was the case he'd have said something. Maybe he was taking a break from hacking but then gave up altogether after HG/SS was announced.

Everyone, he did not leave because of the making of Heart Gold and Soul Silver. He left about one month before the games were even announced. None of us know the real reason why he left. Maybe he got a full time job, maybe he got married, maybe he decided to quit hacking. Maybe we will never know, however all we do know is that there is a very good chance he will not return. However what makes me very curious is why he never even told us he was leaving.

Ok.This is weard . I have to hear things for Zel for a time and that makes me sad... Is he dead or alive ? Did he stopped doing things because HG/SS ? If you trying to make us believe that your Zel that's really stupid . ZEL is awesome and your a guy that you think that your zel . Well ,do everything you like . :(

Wow it's been so long. It'd be great if Shiny Gold was finally finished, but playing it on its own right now is still pretty fun...

well, today will have been 4 years he has been a member. hopefully he hasnt given up, and might share some knowledge wether or not he continues hacking. i also learned why his music was crackly, its because the volume was too high in the midi.

I predict he is/was planning to release the final beta of SG in 2010. look at the number of posts he has, 2009. It seems to me he wants to keep his number of posts the same as the year, so he won't post until it's ready. 6 months till i'm proved wrong.:D
