US Gov is the higher of the two Social Studies classes available at my grade level. US History is the lowest, then US Gov, then US Gov Honors (an accelerated course.) Once you hit 10th grade, you have more choice (I know European History is one, and I think Psychology is part of the Social Studies department too...) And yeah. it's boring beyond belief. All we've done so far is hyper-analyze the Declaration of Independence and jump into the basic principles of the Constitution. Both of which are dull, dull, DULL. And apparently the OTHER Gov teacher jumps on desks and compares the Declaration with an angry breakup letter. >_<
