  • It must be difficult having to save up money with so many tempting material items out there. Across the ocean?!

I think the pressure can get to us as well; sometimes it just throws us completely off our game. People perform differently under pressure; one exception is me playing basketball with my best friends - good times!

Well, it's nice that they did the right thing by raising you, but being all depressed and stuff won't make anything better; they should find other things to do in the meantime to pass the time. Knowing me, I'd probably want to sit back and relax at a later age. I can also go out and do stuff later, but if I can't for some reason, then I might as well do something else in the meantime instead of being all depressed and disappointed.

"Nice guys finish last." This holds true because the nice guys let other people "finish" ahead of them; they put others before themselves even when it hinders them. Sadly, I think I've been in that situation a long time ago; those are the kind of people who take advantage of kindness. Good point because if 2 nice people are put together, then they will both be taken advantage of by others, which is why I think being more selfish has helped me in the long run.

Alright, I just thought it would be kind of interesting to try guessing it. I was wrong to doubt you on that one; I should've known that you were better than that. I have to admit that I go by stereotypes most of the time to pre-judge people. There's just no time to invest in learning about every single stranger I meet though, which is why I do that. I don't see what's the point when most people are exactly the same in this world. It's very difficult to find people who deviate from the standard, such as you and I. I'll tell you my race/ethnicity some day; just not today. I'm from the great state of Texas, the best state in the U.S., not California. It would be amusing if you were from California, haha.
Oh well thats fine, because there was too many zombies in L4D2, but I'm not complaining because it was awesomely fun.
Yeah you're right, because L4D2 was actually my first zombie game too, believe it or not. I don't like Rochelle either, she is a bit winey, I like Nick the best in L4D2 and I'm pretty sure I'll like Francis the best in L4D.
Ah, I read on Yahoo that the programmers rigged the new MJ game to play vuvuzela sounds if the game is pirated. xD
    Walls of text! xD

Yeah, I have that problem a bit too. But sometimes I try to read things too fast and mess them up or mix words.

Ah, I got my two nephews a wireless, USB port mouse for their laptop they share. :p
I'm not sure how extreme the weather is over there, but why don't you just decorate when the sun goes down (e.g. your active time)? 5 PM isn't that late and most shops should be open; Wal-Mart is open basically all day and is unusually packed at all times.

You could be right; I think it's more on the side of being uncomfortable around strangers or people I barely know. I used to be quite anti-social so that carried on all the way until now, but it's not as severe. I was just thinking that maybe we should take a second or two before talking, but then that's a little too slow.

You shouldn't blame yourself for not allowing your grandparents to do what they wanted to do. If anything it's your mother and father's fault, but it's best not to point fingers because that's a waste of time. The best thing to do is grow up to be self-sustaining and competent enough to take care of yourself and others if need be. I'm sure you already know what you need to do that.

I think I said this to you before, but there's nothing wrong with being nice; there's also nothing wrong with being selfish at times as long as it's not hurting someone badly. I don't think being mean is good in general, but sometimes you have to be that way to keep certain people in check; I think it's more accurately known as standing up for yourself. I don't blame you for holding back your kindness as I've also been burned in the past for being too nice, but what do you get when you put 2 nice people together? You get even more niceness, if that's a word. I'm not the type to take advantage of nice people and maybe one day hopefully you will trust me enough (if that day ever comes).

Well, I never gave you any clues about my nationality, except that the place I live in currently has similar weather to the nation of my origin and that you wouldn't last long in the area I live in now (due to your skin condition). I think I'll keep it that way for the time being. It's not that I'm not comfortable telling you; it's just that once I reveal my race/ethnicity to someone, I feel that a prejudice of me is being developed by that person and that person will think of me in a different context. You can't say that you won't do the same; everyone is like that because of the way society is whether it's stereotypes or "common sense." On the other hand I don't mind telling you what city and state I live in, but you have to guess both first =P . Here's a hint: it's a state that could survive on its own if it decided to secede from the U.S.
    Because we're so awesome. XD

Computers aren't that hard to figure out. They're designed to be user-friendly, and if you have just a bit of background knowledge, you figure them out easily.

They were great characters, I can't deny that. I also hate the fact that they died at the beginning. It'd be cool for them to turn into recurring characters one way or another. When they died, I thought it would be like in Bleach, where no one ever dies, but they just seem like they're dying.

I've already read the manga, so if I were to tell you why Rangiku was crying, I'd be an *******. XD Let's just say...nvm. :3

If I were gay and I had a fetish for animated male characters, as well as the opportunity to manifest them into real life, I'd have to choose...well there are a lot. XD; Out of the women...well most anime girls seen to have the same personality. XD I love Orihime, since she can't seem to be able to hurt anyone. I love Rangiku for obvious reasons. XD That and the fact that she's hilarious and does the most unexpected things. Rukia is a great character, but she's way too masculine and imposing for me. There are other girls from other anime series who you might or might not know who I wouldn't mind dating. As for the guys, I agree with Grimmjow, but not Nnoitra. I don't like power freaks, especially ones with holes in their heads. The guys in Bleach are too messed up. XD
No melee weapons? that would be hard to get used to since I love the axe in L4D2, and it being always night would be better and more creepy :DDD
Haha well I'm asking for the first L4D game for Christmas, so at least I might be getting a zombie game :D
I plan on getting it for Christmas but if I don't then I don't, lol.
I want it, because people say its better than the second.
Haha, that's cool. My family is into Christmas: we put up decorations, a tree, lights, etc., but I doubt we're as into it as your family is. Christmas only kept going downhill ever since I was a kid; my parents were more and more reluctant to give me and my bro gifts because we were getting older. We still get money, which is not bad at all. Well, it's nice to see you all excited and stuff as opposed to getting stressed; that's better for your health after all. You have friends in other countries?

I can't say I agree because self-dependence must be developed unless you have a different definition than I do; I won't consider myself that way until I can completely live on my own, which is my ultimate goal right now. Sometimes I wonder about my true intelligence [or lack of it] because when people are with me in person; I talk much differently than I type; it varies with different people though. When I type I take my time so I don't make a fool of myself; when I talk it usually seems rushed, occasionally I stutter, etc. I might have an unknown speech impairment or maybe just leftover relics from my past personality. Yeah, no one likes a person who tries to act like a know-it-all; no one likes self-proclaimed know-it-alls either. That's a good point: as easy as it is to do the usual stuff I do, I want more to life than what's going on now.

I think it's cool how you help your mother. One of my goals in life is to help my parents out in the future, specifically getting them out of debt, letting them retire, and then letting them go off and have fun somewhere, which usually means sight seeing.

Wow, a hug from you?! Even though it's an internet hug, I almost blushed in real life; I know in my mind I blushed, lol =) . I wonder if this is the Christmas spirit; I sure am happier around this time as well (mainly because of no school for a long time). I don't do this often, even online, but... *Hugs back warmly* . Well, I've been debating whether or not I should reveal my race/ethnicity, but decided there's no use in hiding it since I like to be real. First I must ask you: Where do you think I'm from as far as national origin? While we're on that question, how about taking a guess of where I was born? You can guess both my city and state or just my state for the second question.
Wow sweetie, I added you when you posted your email, but never got a chance to sign on. XD Stupid college. >>

So how are you, sweetie? =D
Pretty good. Finished my Interpersonal Communication class today. We did group project presentations. Ours went off pretty well. :)

    How about you? xD
first i am japanese and second i can read japanese but cant translate it lol! I plan to get pokemon white in english when it comes come out.
It's alright, don't keep worrying about replying late; I will be busy these next 2 weeks with final exams anyway. I'm sure everyone would like to be thought of as intelligent, especially idiotic people. All those things you typed - I hope to be in the future; I can only try my best to be that person I want to be. Yeah, the life of a lazy person is too easy to fall back on, but I feel like there has to be more to my life than just sitting back and relaxing all the time.

Well, if it didn't matter to them, then I guess they wouldn't argue so much. There lies the problem though: small things matter to them. This potentially originated from earlier and much more significant problems. When people had big problems in the past, then even the little things could ignite the fire. I might have had an experience like that before; I don't recall it yet though.

Funny thing you should ask, but where I originated from has similar weather to where I was born and live now. Which do you want to know?
Eh, I don't think video gaming as a whole is getting really crappy. You have good games and bad games as always. *shrugs*

I think I don't see people that often because they're too busy at the bars. 8) I live in a college town with a sizeable bar district.

I did have a TV for a lot of the time, but I didn't have the game systems I wanted to play. You see, my stepdad has this bad habit of having this one system he plays a lot, and then he has little games on the other systems that the kids like to play, meaning we can't move them into our room, because there's that one chance that he doesn't want to play Shiny New Sports Game Of The Year(tm) for once... :(

(Okay, so I don't like or get sports games much, and when my stepdad loves them, but that's the only stuff I think gets crappy every year, lol)
I wish I had more motivation to study for school, but I'm lazy due to various reasons. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of stuff does your family argue about?

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you visited the place where I'm from you wouldn't last long because of the prevalence of sunlight. Well, maybe in the future there will be a cure, but it's best to just get used to life without expecting one.
