That's basically what happened to me. XD It was so boring, and I kept getting it wrong. We basically had to design a webpage, and in order for it to work, you had to type a line of code, then check if it worked, then type some more and check again. If it didn't turn out right, then you'd have to go back and find where you went wrong, and that took ages. :/ I'm not bad with computers, but that's something I don't want to try. XD
The characters in Naruto are all pretty lame, since they put too much focus on the main character, which, in my opinion, is an annoying, headstrong, reckless little brat. He's pretty much a copy of every other main character in other anime. The other characters were also copies, but Haku and Zabuza were probably the only unique characters in the anime up until now. The other characters are just boring.
The problem with the manga is that it's really boring. The only reason I'd read manga is for the emotion. Bleach is more action than drama, so it works better as a manga. I know this for a fact, since I watch both the anime and manga. The anime is more action-packed than the manga, so I'd prefer to watch the anime than read. Still, if you want to go ahead and spoil Bleach yourself with the manga, go ahead. :P
Rangiku and Gin are just...strange. There's not much told about them in the manga and anime, and I don't think there will be for a while. Maybe in this new story arc they'll reveal more about Gin and Rangiku's past, as well as where Aizen comes in. I also want to know about Ichigo's dad and when he became a captain. We already know the basics about Urahara, but I want to know how he knows Isshin and Uryu's dad. There's so much mystery to Bleach. I just want to know it all. XD
I like that personality in some of the characters, but Nnoitra was designed to be disliked, and I fell for that trap easily. XD He was too similar to Kenpachi and Grimmjow, and he was introduced very late into the series and died really quickly, so he didn't really leave much of an impression on me.
I LOVED Grimmjow. He was my favourite of all the Espada. I liked how he had some morals and wasn't a total beast compared to some of the other bad guys. I was hoping he'd return towards the end of the series and side with Ichigo somehow to overthrow Aizen (he didn't actually die), but I'm guessing the manga producers are saving him for another time.
Of the fillers, I actually enjoyed the Princess arc. XD The Bount Arc and the Zanpakuto arc were really boring and were too long, so I ended up disliking them. What I liked about the Princess Arc was that it was a short break from the main story rather than a long-winded diversion that could've been an anime of its own. The characters weren't especially deep, but I did like the new captain. He died in a stupid way, though. :/
The Zanpakuto Arc was a pain to watch. I don't know why it was so fun for everyone to watch, but I just didn't like it. It cut into Bleach when the story was just getting heated up, and I was so annoyed. I liked the little arc after it about the Fiend Swords or whatever they were called. It had a bit of comedy and interesting stories, but it was still annoying for me. :/
You should watch some other anime while you're at it. After the Bleach arc is over, let it build up for a while and watch some others. The finished anime are better than ongoing ones since their storylines are more refined. My friend recommended one called "Elfen Lied". It's very gruesome and there's a bit of nudity, but that can be overlooked. The story is just amazing. It's only 13 episodes, so there's no harm in watching it. I haven't read the manga yet, but I'll get to reading it eventually.
Are there any other anime/manga that you're following? Right now, I'm following:
-Bleach
-Naruto
-Gintama
-Fairy Tail
I'm also watching some other finished anime, and I've got some on my laptop which I'll watch eventually. What about you? :D
