Well after a bit of time, I already know how to sprite characters, and it will be important on this for sure,since it'll feature Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver AND Crystal, not only one or two.

I got very confused at mapping and scripting though. I wouldn't if I had a working link to XSE but I don't so I had to find something else and it's confusing.

I tried at HackMew's but link is broken.

I wanted to know how to make hacks, because I had a pretty good idea but know nothing about hacks, and on RMXP I am horrible even though I tried for years to make good maps, with no success. So I wanted your help to at least learn it, or maybe even your participation, since I plan it to be one more firered hack, but very different. It would be related in some way to the manga, and at same time not related. The story would be different but would have all main characters from the start of manga, that is: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold and Crystal, while you would be: NONE of the above! Actually Red Green Blue and Yellow would be your 1st journey's rivals, with one being the main rival(Probably yellow or blue). After defeating the elite four and entering the league(like on manga where there's tournament instead of only defeating elite four and champ), you happen to lose the tournament.Then you are told by Oak to go to Johto, to get the 8 gym badges and fight their league, in order to become stronger. Once you're there you hear about team rocket's ressurection because of the Mask of Ice, who is leading them after giovanni's defeat 2 years before you started your journey, which happened 1 year before Mask of Ice appeared. (Yes you took 1 year to get to the league but didn't win) On that journey on johto you meet Gold, Silver and Crystal, and once again the three of them are your rivals, but one of them will be main rival(I think Crystal would be better because Gold is Silver's main rival and vice versa). On the league the Mask of Ice attacks with Lugia and Ho-oh, like on manga, and you have your role on it as well. After that you go back to kanto and try to win the tournament you lost. By then everyone is stronger and you get to finals. You happen to fight your main rival from kanto on the last fight. Defeat him to get your second master ball and go to the after-game where you can catch legendaries, go to the battle tower and things like that. I don't know yet where to get the first master ball. Anyways, that pretty sums it up. Please fix it if needed, and teach me how to hack roms.


@edit: Oh and you would have villains on kanto before fighting mask of ice on johto, but I don't know which yet. Also, your first pokémon would be one that Red catches for you, since you go to oak's lab for the first pokémon but he happened to not be with any starter pokémon, and no, he didn't have a spare one(by spare one I mean like pikachu for ash). Red happens to see it and decides to catch a good pokémon for you. That like yellow, was before the journey, but it does appear on the game. So, what do you think up to now?

Yeah but i wanna keep the hopping block as well lol. It was gonna be for an acro bike mini-game.

Anywaz I was wondering if you had the capability to make it so that as soon as the intro finishes you warp to a different start map depending on your gender (rather than going into the van and then the script in the van setting where to warp when you leave the van). I was about to try using startmapchooser but then i realised it warped the boy and the girl to the same place.

If you do know how to implement this then what do you say to the challenge? :)

PS. I have already used the van remover tool to get rid of the shaking and random tile changing at the beginning.

Is it possible to make a tile that you can only get onto if you do a wheelie onto it on the acro bike? If so, does it require ASM or can I just use the block editor to do it?
