Yeah, totally. And to them, it's totally fine to take your old shoes and glue them to a canvas. Hey, if I say it's some sort of expression it's art! Of course, if it's a comic then it's just some childish immature "thing", not art, because OBVIOUSLY comic's can't have any sort of creative expression whatsoever. They only exist to make little 10 year olds buy more... right? >_>
The worst part is that after the teacher tells me to tone down my negative criticism (I tend to be rather blunt, but I always feel if I point out what's wrong, a person can fix it and make a perfect piece), they go behind the teacher's back and call me insults. Of course the teacher wasn't paying attention because she thought I was reacting to her, but ****. They're allowed to make fun of me and snicker "behind" my back but I can't give useful criticism of someone's artwork. **** this.
I'm seriously thinking about skipping the class for the 13 days I can and just hang with my friends. I turn in all my work digitally and do literally nothing in class. What's the point of going there if I'm only going to get mocked?
