I don't think my mother knew of anyone that was a victim of the tsunami. I knew of a couple or so from my net friends, but luckily our family remains unharmed.

And well, to be honest I don't come from Iceland. But I can tell you that Iceland speaks Icelandic primarily and English as a secondary language as well as Danish. I'm just jealous of their greenery.
