Well obviously they would have stayed in the group and continue dto recruit and such over the years so there'd still be plenty of members, but maybe we should just set it in like an extremely parallel world that is the exact same as the books but simply void of the original characters, excluding Vold so there'd still be DE's ^_^ or is that stupid.

Well so only the ones that really believed in all the anti-muggle stuff would have stayed in the group, so then we'd only be working with radicalists :D and we could just say they got control of most of the media to promote their propoganda and such and that's how they're so powerful whenever the RP takes place. Or something else plausible I suppose. I just don't see how the Death Eaters would just have disappeared, given that they weren't all arrested or killed, which we could always make true.

Rereading that, it just doesn't make sense...lol

Well I think it's still safe to call them Death Eaters since the DE's stayed around after they thought Voldie died the first time and and it'll still be like a group following the same motives and sharing the same views and such, just a younger generation, but I can see how a different opposing group could have formed, I'm just too lazy to come up with a different Order but if you'd like to, feel free xD

Yeah no double agents. So what's the youngest they can be to join, assuming that the Order and DE's can't make use of 11 year olds? I was thinking maybe 4th or 5th years but it doesn't really matter that much.

Um, well no xD At least my original idea was to set it like 20-30 years after V's downfall so that we wouldn't have to deal with original characters, considering that we wouldn't really know how to play them and such, but if you've got an arguement against this I'm open to hear it.

Hey so about the RP, I've run into some issues already just on the SU form lol. So we've got to decided:
Is everyone forced to be in either the Order or a Death Eater, or should they be able to join either at their disgression? I used to be in an HP RP elsewhere and this was always an option where you had to PM the GM to join but I think since the RP kinda revolves around fighting we might just want to make everyone part of it to begin with?
Also, determining Houses... we could either read the personalities on their SU's and then sort the characters ourselves, or we can let them choose their own Houses... This is kind of difficult because they'll have to write a history and that'd be challenging if they've been at the school for a few years but aren't sure of their House yet, but then again the Houses strongly correspond to personalities and people not coorelate these properly if we let them choose...
so thoughts? xD

I'm gonna start on the thread, like making the rules and SU form and such. Obviously I won't do the intro and plot 'til we've decided on everything. Maybe I'll make my own character's SU ^_^ SO BORED.

I think I've got a semi-solid idea, but it does have it's flaws. The RP would center around Hogwarts students that, while still in school, are part of the Order or DE's. By allowing people to play as student DE's we can make battles/kidnappings/etc take place in the castle occasionally, since adult DE's can't enter it [assuming no Vanishing Cabinet or DE Headmaster], though not too often because the DE RPers obviously won't get caught and it'd just be too unrealistic and stupid after a while. But there'd still be skirmishes in other locations as well. And afterwards the students would go back to the school and continue their schooling and social lives. So we can RP in the magic of Hogwarts while still involving the excitement of the war...what do you think?

Yes, teleport won't be useless in my RP.
