Okay, well, the majority of our active members have voted. I will wait until tomorrow morning to post the results, but even if the rest of the majority of the active members voted for the side that is losing, it wouldn't make them win or tie it. (No, I will not say who is winning or losing :( )

I am not going to wait for the innactive members, especially since most were just people who posted once and never came back.

Putting cheat codes in is just normal Action Replay and Gameshark codes.

If you look at my Shuckle video, I have no codes in my code list.

Putting Mewtwo on Route 103 requires multiple programs and programming knowledge so you can edit the code of the game. You speed up the game by just holding down the Spacebar. Just a little knowledge for you~

The Odd Egg and all shinies bred from other shinies shouldn't count, but I see no reason why normal ones should count.

G/S/C shinies count. Why wouldn't they?

However, shinies that are the result of breeding from another shiny (since the odds are only 1/100) do not.

Handheld games does not mean that they have to be on the handheld system. It means they're originally handheld games, what I meant by that is no Pokemon Rumble shinies would count on the Pokedex.

Respect the law? I can't respect the law for something that's international. There are so many different laws that respecting just all is impossible.

On the internet, you have people from all over the world coming into one place. If ROMs are illegal in America, and legal is Saudi Arabia, I'm not going to differentiate between the two because it's so easy to lie about it, and making it against the rules to play them for certain people will not only cause more conflict in the club over the issue, but will cause people to lie.

And comparing ROMs to murder? Seriously? What are we freaking 12? Just stop replying. I've said probably 40 times before that the legality doesn't matter as it's not consistant throughout the entire world. Yes, the Nintendo has copyrights on the game, that doesn't make them illegal everywhere.

I said multiple times that I am not going to restrict the use of ROMs for some, and allow the use for others. It's either all or none. It's a Shiny Club, not a Legal System Club.

If we let one person use ROMs, that doesn't mean everyone is going to start using them. It means that one person is going to be allowed to use ROMs. And I fail to see how that will make the club a ROM-user group. It's one aspect.

If someone made an Electric Pokemon fan club and had their mascot be Zapdos, that doesn't make the entire club about Zapdos.

Judging from what you're saying about emulators and ROMs, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You're just copying what one person said instead of looking up for yourself and forming your own opinions.

10. I don't know if you know this, but no everyone from the old shiny club was amazing.

Your game runs at 100% speed. You speed it up, you're going at 200% speed. Your DS games run at 100% speed. You play two at a time, you're doing the same amount of encounters as you would on one game at 200% speed.

You can't play on 2-5 emulators and speed it up. If you just have more than one open you're game runs at 80% speed and you can't speed it up. So those two emulators combined only equal 160% speed, which on the DS would be 200% and is actually less efficient.

A save state is when you save the emulator in the middle of a battle. Now, for shinies where they obviously can't kill themselves or run they're fine. But if you find a shiny that knows Roar, Explosion, or can just run away, it would be unfair to use save states because then you can force-avoid that issue.

Most forums besides PokeCommunity ban emulator game discussion completely.

10. Not really. That's rather irrelevant. The vast majority of our members were never in the old shiny club, if you took all of the ones that were and made it so they never joined, we'd still be one of the most popular clubs on the forum.

I won't ban going at higher speeds. It's the same thing as hunting with multiple systems. You can't change percentages, you obviously have no idea about the limitations of rom hacking, and I am not going to ban it for only certain people. It's all or none. I don't care about the laws because it's not a Legal System Fan Club.

I will ban changing the Pokemon, except for things like Altering Cave. I will also ban custom events, such as if someone made a Celebi event and SRed for that, I'd still let them post it but I wouldn't count it in the PokeDex.

I am also going to ban save states.

4. Nintendo doesn't create laws. They copyrighted the games, and under certain country's laws that copywright is viewed differently. In the U.S., all use of ROMs are illegel. In many countries, it's legal if you own the game. They can say that eating pie is illegal. It doesn't make it illegal everywhere in the world. You know why? They're a company, not a first world order.

What are some arguments against emulator shinies? I am going to have a club wide vote through PM (and I will print-screen every PM for proof) to see what the people in the club think.

Arguments against them counting:
1. ROMs are illegal in many places.
2. Speeding it up is an unfair advantage.
3. They're not counted on other forums.

Oh, and no campaigning inside or outside of the club or you will be banned (same applies to everyone, even other co-owners). The entire point of providing both sides of the argument is for them to decide, not have other people pressure them into a side. And it if is allowed, it won't be an open discussion anymore inside the club. It will be forever allowed.

But, if most people don't want it, it won't be an open discussion either and will be forever not allowed.

Something like this should be everyone's decision.
