Well, my family was sick of me talking about Pokemon (at my age) and my friends didn't want to battle me anymore cause I kicked their sorry butts.

I wanted something bigger and better from Pokemon, you know? So I decided to "put up or shut up". I checked out some sites and eventually found, what I consider to be, the epicenter of Competitive Battling. The Pokecommunity. I've only been battling competitively for a little over a month now, but I've been hooked ever since.

What about yourself? How did you find competitive battling?

I never got round to finishing it, but the episodes are pretty awesome. xDD;

I was watching Episode 52, but I think when I get around to it I'll watch all of them. xDD;

Of course! After all, that's what I came to the PC to learn about.

But yeah, I love battling Pokemon competitively and the environment as a whole really. I'm assuming you like competitive battling also?

Which banner do you mean? I'm using a randomizer which means it shows one out of 5 different banners all the time @.@

Catch abusing hm. I've typed out the steps for finding the DS parameters. Next step, which I'll be working on tomorrow, is catching wild Pokemon. Make sure that your parameters were all correct and inputted. Then search for Wild Pokemon Standard Seed spreads, frame 1. You shouldn't have to be doing anything above frame 1 (walking around is terrible :P). Here is the draft so far: here.

In my experience, I've messed up at hitting wild Pokemon IVs because of: timer0 value being annoying; switching DS; switching my wi-fi connection; not changing the parameters when I switched between White and Black; taking too many steps (use Super/Max/Normal Repel to count steps!); pressing buttons when I should not be or pressing the wrong buttons, etc.

You will have to explain your exact procedure so I could help determine what you're doing wrong..
