HI DuoRyan! How are you? I just passed by to ask.. Do you make OW's? I'm currently back(for a short period of time) in hacking. I can help you also in return if you need my help.
Oh yeah, sorry. I removed the first routine from the tutorial and forget to change that part. It's meant to read "You must also change the pointer of the callasm to the location of the asm routine plus one."
At 0x0452ee, there's a "strh r4, [r5]" instruction which stores a color into the palette buffer. It's in the middle of the loop which creates the fade-in/fade-out effect. So if you hijack that routine directly before the "strh" instruction, you'll have access to each color right before it gets written to the palette memory. That way, you can perform some sort of function (greyscale, in this case) to every single color.
I don't remember exactly (I made it a long time ago) but I think I hacked the routine that makes the palettes fade-in/fade-out. I hacked it so it would convert the new color to greyscale.
You're not the only one who likes my calendar tile. I made it myself, so sure you can you use it. It is nice that people want to use it. Just credit etc as you said and everything is cool. :)
I'm glad to be back.
I had to go away so this place wasn't a distraction.
At least I know I worked really hard towards my examinations. :)
Thanks for the tribute btw.
It was nice to see something appreciated my help enough to do that for me.
