  • In Yugioh, every card counts. The concept of drawing into Pot of Greed and getting an immediate, free, advantage is just not on. It's luck based. Whoever is fortunate enough to draw Pot has a higher chance of winning. The card has no skill in it whatsoever either, unlike other cards which can give a player advantage.
I suppose not. You'll just have to take my word for it that it is quite bad. Anyone who is fortunate enough to draw into pot of greed instantly gets an advantage over their opponent. That is simply unfair in the world of Yugioh. There is no skill to obtain advantage with Pot of Greed. You draw it, you play it, boom, you're one card up.
I love Hydreigon too though ;; except not his design.

BUT VOLCARONA'S STILL BETTER MAKE IT A LEGENDARY
I KNOW RIGHT. I even said on irc "Is Karpman trolling me? I could have sworn he was here when I linked it..."
    No I didn't :( FINE DELETING IT

I could've sworn you knew who I was though. I was like "Is he trolling...?"
Yes, but it increases the probability of drawing into power cards regardless, because you are thinning the deck by two. Most decent draw cards are actually on the limited list lol. Allure of Darkness, Card Destruction and Destiny Draw are all limited to one, even though none of these offer any immediate advantage (Card Destruction actually gives you a -1 whereas the other two are neutral). Thinning the deck in Yugioh is a really powerful aspect unlike in the Pokemon TCG.
Lmao unfortunately the concept of a free +1 (you lose pot of greed but gain two new cards, so in terms of card advantage, it is a +1) can be pretty busted in Yugioh. Not to mention, EVERY DECK would run Pot of Greed if it was around, so it might as well be banned to allow for a bit more variety in decks.
LMAO Pot of Greed is banned now, so they released Pot of Avarice.

BUT NOWADAYS, POT OF AVARICE IS EVEN MORE ABUSABLE THAN POT OF FRICKING GREED.
