At least with fantasy, you get more wiggle room in trying to justify things. So it should be a lot easier. :)

Cause she's like flirting with me on Facebook all the time and i'm gettin really creeped out by it and even though she says she's joking, she starts it all up like an hour later, so I'm gettin really confused and creeped out........

I'm sort of at that point -- or at least I have enough to start off and by the time I catch up to where I've planned in my head, I should have a better feel for the story and should be able to go from there.

You're more dedicated into making the science work than I am most days. Then again I just never try to justify it. It's always like "this is the technology. It works. Yay?" I'm not a science person so I'd rather just not discuss it than try to and get it wrong.

It was freaking frightening to 4 year old me. Even now, I can see why. *shudder*

I even had to save up to "buy" a GBA from my parents. I think I've bought every main series Pokemon game I've ever owned except for Red, Blue, and Yellow, since I got Red and Yellow for the Christmas after my ninth birthday (Christmas 1999 was the one Christmas I got a ridiculous amount of Pokemon stuff - I got the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, military-style dog tags with Rattata on them, a Squirtle motion sensor, and the two video games). Then I got the Pokemon Trading Card Game game for Game Boy the following Christmas and lost it not terribly long afterward.

I missed out on the consoles. I watched my dad playing lots of games (including Doom), which oddly didn't frighten me as much as that damn manatee from that Seaworld game.

I had to save up to get my own Game Boy Color back when I was 8 to even get into the handhelds. I got my own Game Boy Color the day before my 9th birthday, and my birthday present from my family was Pokemon Blue. Wouldn't have been as into Pokemon if I hadn't gotten a Game Boy Color.

Yeah it can either be obnoxious or catchy depending on your exposure level and your mood.

Never had an SNES. I had PC games when I was younger, probably because my dad was and is in IT. I remember playing a Seaworld game that where the manatee in it freaked me out, haha. This was back in 1995 when 3D CG games were just starting to become mainstream. I had Sim City 2000 by age 8 or 9, though.

It also sends me on nostalgia trips since we once won an Xbox back in 2004-ish and the demo disc the system came with had it as one of the full games (the other was a racer).

I try, but I'm such a downer, depending on the day.

Any video games that involve hand-eye coordination are my enemy, haha. until I play them enough that I memorize their patterns

It's a skating game where you spray up a city with graffiti tags to counter an oppressive police force regime controlled by a wealthy and power-corrupted businessman, and then proceed to spray those police (who are decked out in all-white gear, perfect for vandalizing with pretty colors of spray-paint :P ) in skating battles for control of an area. I only ever get past the first level before calling it a session and then forget to go back later to play it and then can't play it for five months because the TV with the system is never open so I have to start over to re-learn how to play.
