While it can provide you with a steady job, that job won't always last forever and it could make getting another job hard as you can't play the same role forever. As you said it's probably more to do with people assuming that's all you can do, nobody wants to be viewed as a one-trick pony.

That would explain it, but it really surprises me, you'd think they would have assumed it would be amazingly popular and invested in servers big enough. To be honest with you I only want to join it to find out definately what house I'd be in.

The thing about college/uni with me is that I've decided what course I want to do and where I want to do it but I can have up to 5 choices, my first choice involves me staying at home so I'd like to choose some unis a little further away incase my situation/my mind changes. All I can really recommend to you is taking a look around at some of the courses/unis, you never know what will take your fancy, I didn't want to go to uni before I started looking at what was available.

-They changed rice balls to donuts (do rice balls even look like donuts?)
-They removed all references to Japanese culture

Hmm, that is indeed true, I can imagine his Manchesterness being iritable to whoevers playing the Doctor at that point and a delightful Posh wit vs. Shut up or I'll knock you out argument occuring. Hmm, I guess thats possible, I always heard it was avoiding being typecast (which is fair enough, I always think of the Doctor whenever I see David Tennant) but he could have avoided it for another series so I guess its quite likely it was a disagreement with someone else involved.
