I'm aware of this. And in essence, you would need some pretty vast knowledge of programming to know how to code an entire engine. Homebrew is well and good, but to create a full Pokemon DS styled engine it would take a couple hundred thousand lines of code. Not impossible, but highly improbable. Not that any of this is your business, I do know their qualifications. A bachelor degree in computer science. Apparently.

I had to close 5 threads, as well as a heap of other work I obviously missed out on with the section while I was away. I wasn't going to sugar coat everything. Excuse me? You do realize that you would need a PHD in computer programming, along with a team of 10/15 other top programmers to work with you to create a DS engine at the calibre of Pokemon style and quality? It's not just a pipe dream, it's an impossibility. I don't particularly appreciate you telling me my business.

Figured as much, lol. Not much point me joining another forum. My interest in Pokémon is very narrow these days. I don't mind the odd NU game or a monotype run, but I mainly hang around here for the social side of things. If you could call it that. :P
