Just asking for help, but...

Do you have any idea on how I can get Wesley FG's hack "Light Platinum" to work? I've tried the regular ruby rom, then patch and then I've tried Ruby (V1.0/V1.1/V1.2) and patched them all. None of them work and in result in get a frozen screen. I'm honestly confused and I know for a fact I'm patching them right, I read and searched the thread; also took in to account for what others said to do and tried them. I would greatly appreciate some assistance if applicable.
