What do I add/subtract to it because I'm kind of at a loss for words (which is partially taking its toll on my writing ability) .

I don't think I really had one. There's always the generic 'Professor of new region gives out (number) Pokemon and they go beat the gyms' but what fun would that be? I'd much rather start a journey with a more...involved plot. Do you have any ideas, per chance?

I really enjoy character development, actually, especially through the form of interactions. I just love writing different personality types interacting with one another~ Different kinds of relationships just fascinate me, I guess.

Well I generally like to have balanced characters all around. All you really have to do is think about how your character's personality would play out in real life, with different kinds of people. You can have a character who's over-the-top, but then you have to remember that they're only going to appeal to certain people.

Well my character is a little much. He's slowly transforming into a calmer person though, which is a good thing.

I'm not sure about where to make the post go NEXT tho ... mostly because there are PLENTY of ways that a move like Dragonair's could play out.

So how about: Yes. Bunny Dragonair for a few turns, making the Twister into Waterfall combination the turning point, then make some suggestions about what MY next few moves should be then?

Of course, you don't want to be an anti-sue either. Some people really like them, but honestly I think they're just as bad. You need a mixture of good and bad traits in a character, and while it doesn't necessarily have to be an even mixture, you need some kind of balance.

Still type advantage/disadvantage plays a factor in my RPing mostly due to the inexcusable misconceptions of the Pokemon Anime canon. For example, in the movie That featured Mew and Mewtwo, Ash beat a GOLEM... with Thunderbolt ...
