You mean regular D.S. games? Good question! I myself asked this one before I bought my 3DS, and yes you can (I wouldn't of bought it if not). If you play a regular D.S. game then it automaticly turns off the 3D feature, but with 3D games you have the option to keep it on, or play the game 2D. Suprisingly enough, you can't play a 3D game on a regular D.S., as all 3D games have a special thing on the game cartrige that means it only fits in a 3.D.S.

Same! Exept one difference,.... I HAVE a 3DS! I think Pokemon dream radar takes my fancy more than the pokedex app, as I have the 3DS pokedex app that was released about the same time as B/W!

And the only reason I can recognize that is because I was reading a manga, and it was talking about candy, and the label on the candy was in Japanese but it told you what it said in a caption. and because it said it on several pieces I figured out that it said chocolate. Yay for manga.

To tell the truth I've never really tried :P But programming and else is definitely not my thing.

That's a pity, but I'm sure you'll find what you need to truly hack game, even if you have Linux. Maybe you can ask some people here, a lot of members are fond of ROM hacking.
