It's unpredictability apparently, you never knew what set it was and had to lose a Poke to find. That was the main argument. Dragonite is probably superior in most sets bar mixed, Multi-scale is pretty good especially with SR being less relevant.

I'm 1-3, haven't touched it for almost 2 years. Still it's fun and a lot better then BW. Trying to find some of my old teams ;D

Well I can definitely see the value in it but it kinda destroys the notions of leads in my opinion. This is probably just me stuck in the past refusing to accept such a change though haha. I just liked having my team secret so you could get the jump with your switch-ins.

I agree although I never got the Mence ban, sure it was quite a decent Pokemon but it'd settled into the metagame nicely and any decent team could deal with it. It seemed a lot of people voted Uber cause of no counters >.< At they very least, the 3 underatted Dragons were given a chance to shine and it felt balanced.

As you said the balance is completely off, there's just a mountain of Dragon Pokemon and so many offensive threats. Plus I know I've mentioned this but I dislike team preview. Not knowing what your opponent has was and still should be a core mechanic of competitive battling. It's like playing chess and being given the strategy your opponent is going to use :|
