  • When I was younger, I really hated Gary, but now that I'm a bit older, I just love him. He's just so baaaad. :D Slamming doors in Ash's face, getting his Eevee to slam Pikachu to the ground, THAT GUY HAD 10 BADGES. 10.

but yes Gary > all. I'd rather the show be around Gary.. >_<
    Pretty good. Just bored, like always. I don't really do much at the moment. D;

    How about you?
Yeah, I know... it can certainly take a lot of punishment. Bruno is easy, and Agatha is too as long as you're faster than she is.

All right, but I'm still not getting one of those complicated phones xD I still don't know how to check voice mail on the one we have, nor do I have any interest in figuring it out, lol. I know I hate leaving voice mails since I don't think the other person ever gets it, and I hate getting them because, well, I just don't. Sometimes I wish I lived in a time period before phones were even invented...

Well, we have good and bad on both sides of the fence. My dad's side really doesn't have any organized reunion... the last time a bunch of us got together was for my cousin's wedding in 2008, I think? Well, whenever it was that was the year where we stayed at that way overpriced Holiday Inn where the rooms were rather blah and they tried to scam us... never staying at one of those again, lol As far as my mom's side, it's actually only a small group that get together for this one (the old fart group xD), as I have two cousins I talk with on FB who never come, and a bunch of our relatives who live out near Albany and down in SC who don't come to this one either. It would be a lot better if people I actually know came to our reunion, but, eh...

The first one is here (beware, it's 55 chapters) and the sequel is here (only 7 or 8 chapters). Enjoy!

But actually I could go into an entire book on my various hotel stays, some good and some bad xD
In Sweden we have a house and in the US we have many houses so it's all good lol. Yeah, my sister told me it's awesome over there. I'm glad it's enjoyable there since I need to relax for a while lol. I'm looking forward to finishing school. One semester and I will finish. I'm probably going to slack off, and try to pass courses without that much effort lol.

I'll call you Ari. ;) It's shorter than Ariella and I do have a tendency to call people with nicknames when I get to know them lol. And yes, I have a huge family. They like to have kids for some reason. I have an aunt who has 10 children, 9 of them are girls lol.

I'm 6' 1" or a little less. We are a tall family lol. The one that's 7 feet tall plays basketball. He has scholarship in Princeton there and he's pretty good. He's probably twice as you haha.

Btw, I saw your latest pics in the thread. You look hot, Ari. Like really! That devil costume really suits you! :*

So how is your day going far? What are you up to? Our posts got shorter! ):
I saw your post in the celeb thread, and you're so lucky you got to see Jim Gaffigan live! He's so fantastically funny :) Did he do his new stand-up routine, the older one or bits of both?
Haha, it's fine! Not a lot of people like that kind of music. XD And yes, it most certainly is. XP
Actually, it's Dragonite, Nidoking, and Exeggutor who are weak to Ice... and Lorelei's definitely tougher than Bruno or Agatha. Her Lapras in particular is one tough customer.

Yeah, and I don't need something like that. WHat I need is something simple, like a phone from the 1960's or something. And one that I can leave at home. Heck, my grandparents lived 90+ years without owning a cell phone, so why can't I? I'm really not sure if I want to play games on a phone, it doesn't sound like a good platform to play lengthy RPG's xD

Wow, that sucks... at mine, people want to talk too much... as in, pry into every little part of our lives. I don't want to tell these people that I still haven't found work, they don't need to know that. I don't even know who these people are, coming up and talking like I'm supposed to know. The food is just deli meat, and there's nothing to keep the younger people entertained - which probably explains why they don't go (and that they live hundreds of miles away, like I wish I did).

Once, I witnessed a guy roll a joint and sell it to the dude across the aisle, right there on the bus. Worse was the fact that I had to take the bus, since for some reason my college scheduled me for night classes - at their downtown annex which is about ten miles away from the main campus. Riding a packed city bus with a bunch of weirdos at 9:30-10:00 at night can get scary. Now, after airline prices started to get out of hand, I've had to use Greyhound buses to go from college to home for holidays. They aren't as bad, but you still have your fair share of weird dudes and the stations are in pretty bad shape. The bathrooms at the Charlotte, NC station are especially disgusting.

Okay, cool :) In NYC, I've been to the Empire State building, Wall Street, Battery Park, and a few other places. I went there twice in 2001, then earlier this year during a Greyhound layover, so I walked around midtown Manhattan for a bit :) A busy place there- the exact opposite of where I live, and I think I'd much rather live there xD

Oh yeah, did I link you yet to my older stories with Lisa in them?
Oh good. Yeah, I'm really excited about leaving here, since it wasn't the best experience. Hopefully I'll enjoy it better when I return at the end of this year. I'm still not sure where I'm heading lol. My mother and siblings are in Sweden [took an early flight] so there isn't much around to do in the US, well at least not until September 26th [when college starts]. I'll probably end up going to Sweden then back to the US for a few months. When does you school start?

Well, yeah, but thinking that I can make my own money without any help is a little cocky, according to my grandparents. They've been providing for me for so long and the thought of not accepting their seemingly generous help sounds a little unfair to them, or something like that. Idk, I don't want to make a big deal out of it lol.

Haha (: <3 I know around 7 Olivers lol. People tend to call me Olee to differentiate between us. It supposedly caught up in my family and now all my siblings and my mom call me Olee. I don't mind it really; does it sound weird lol? And yeah, just 6 years. He is also an uncle to someone older than him lol. My grandmother's mom and dad are still alive too lol.

    Thank you, it's okay! <3

Haha that's adorable. How tall are you, if you don't me wondering? xP I have a few cousins who are a little more than 5 ft. On another hand, I have a cousin who is a little less than 7 ft lol.
I think Purdue is one of our rivals? XD; And I'm going to be a junior next year, so 2 more full years to go ahaha. I saw a new member join just to ask about Pokemon TCG in South Bend area but I think he disappeared and didn't come back :( I know a few people in Ohio/Michigan though!
Okay, thanks :) When it comes time, I'll definitely look into it :)

Yeah, so it definitely has some basis in reality... that is the team she used to become champion in my game in real life, so :P Only problem is that three of them are weak to Ice, but Lorelei is really the only one with a lot of ice to throw around. Actually, the game where I found it easiest to put together a really great team was XD Gale of Darkness.

I never liked the phone, even before cell phones were even heard of. I don't ever want to text - from what I understand, the grammar and spelling that people use when texting is horrible. Their English teachers would not be pleased :P I just need a phone with nice big buttons that dials out and receives calls. No voice mail, no text, no any of this other stuff. Simple is good after all xD

I don't think anyone will miss me either, considering that maybe five people will actually know who the heck I am and even they happen to be over 60. And there's literally nothing to do... all they ever do is sit around and talk about old people stuff that I don't care about, lol.

I've taken a train once before for a class trip in 8th grade... it was pretty nice :) More recently though, I've found myself taking the bus, and unfortunately all sorts of shady characters are on board those. The buses themselves aren't too bad now - some of them have wi-fi and electrical outlets, but the people are still just as creepy. And one time they left me stuck in Cleveland because of snow...

Actually, I've never been to Chicago besides a flight layover in O'Hare. What kinds of places did you go when you visited?

I didn't mind moving in early; it was getting there 6 hours early and sleeping in our already cramped and uncomfortable truck that I hated. Moving in early let me get my stuff in place, quickly get my computer up and running, then head out and enjoy my first day on campus, which, cheesy as it sounds, was a magical time for me xD

I only have a Facebook right now.
    Thanks!

And yeah haha, for most of the year I am in Indiana. Not just yet, but I will be in about a week XD
Aww, that sounds adorable :) Any specific cats that you recommend for someone like me who has allergies and can't tolerate a lot of shedding, but still wants something fluffy? It could be awhile before I actually get one; depends on how soon I find work.

I know I enjoyed Leaf Green :) I probably played through it more times than any other Pokemon game. Last game my team was Blastoise, Persian, Electrode, Nidoking, Exeggutor, and Dragonite, which, naturally is also the team Leaf says she had in the story :) I need something to jump start my interest in the new sequel games, because after hearing that my (our, actually) least favorite person was going to show up, it's been hard to get excited about it. Even if the girl character is good looking this time around (still can't hold a candle to Leaf, but at least it's a step in the right direction xD).

I never liked talking on the phone, but now with cell phones it's worse since you can get a call anywhere. Before them, if you were say, in the car or in the store, you never had to put up with someone calling and disturbing you. Personally, I don't have a phone; for now I share the family's phone, and this thing is not user friendly at all - the buttons are tiny, the menu (why do phones have so many gadgets that they even need a menu?) is confusing, and even the ringing is annoying.

Well anyway, what are your drives to the big city like? I for one LOVE to be out on the open road - it's like my second home. Only problem is, ever since my parents caught on to the truck/SUV craze, our vehicles haven't been as comfortable - the seats in our Chevy truck are so hard and there's no rear seat legroom to speak of. This despite claims of it being a "full-size" truck. We even had to try to sleep in the thing on year when moving me into college because we arrived at the parking lot at 2:30 in the morning and move-in wasn't until 8:00 - talk about bad planning by my parents :P

Actually, I think I decided against going to this family reunion Sunday. It's not worth it to see a bunch of old folks I hardly know, and that's not even mentioning the fact that Fred, our family's resident drunkard, could show up. That guy creeps me out.

Okay, this one's a bit longer, lol. Any burning questions you want to ask that you simply must know about me? :P
