  • Wait no I see what you did xD don't worry I'm an idiot

I give a lucky egg to the traded pokemon anyway :)
No they aren't, and you wouldn't have to really. I'm not thinking of 4th gen hacks and 3rd gen isn't necessary anymore for trading to newer as the 4th have nearly all the Pokemn on them as it is mixed with 5th gen.
Considering the hack may be free on here, putting them potentially for sale would perhaps cause uproar, and to mass market them for a dying console would be too great. However, saying that, the Virtual Store of the DSi and 3DS could be used similar to Valve's Steam network in that regard - if you own the game on the Virtual Console then that could work.
Unlike musicians who create music sometimes for fun or to make a statement, businesses like Nintendo make games for a profit. That's the gist of it. The music scene is similar, but Nintendo do not care about the end user and what they may want in terms of this fully patched (yet not, more blank) copy, instead they do the cost productive way of finishing it to deadline, release, get profit and ensure they get more by trying to stop the pirates and hackers who can get the ROM. If they release a fully patched, little to gain in terms of profit as those who buy the Pokemon games are also statistically likely to hack it, even more so than those who didn't. It's not like Steam and Portal's map designer (which is also easier due to it being on the PC not the DS), Nintendo cannot make a cost productive way of doing this at all.
That's not hacking, that's more cheating using a device. Technically hacking, but doesn't permanently change data in a fashion, instead manipulating it via an external client.

Nintendo DO NOT WANT hackers doing things at all. I though the anti piracy things they did such as the no EXP in newer Pokemon games would have made that obvious. They do not want people getting the ROMs at all, they just want to create a game that people will enjoy. Also less people will hack a "blank" game that has no elements of the original ROM as you need to add a hell of a lot of stuff into it (including the battle system, by the way), and Game Freak are more obsessed with making their own games than allowing them to be modified. It's not a good business plan to do what you are suggesting. It's also not going to prevent the spread of the ROM, as the original ROM can still be used by pirates, so there is little need to do it. Nearly any ROM can be found by pirates as they are leaked from Game Freak by accident or by one person on purpose and then put on the internet (like the Black and White ROMs), so either way, the piracy continues, it can't really be stopped.
What? Why would fully patching them achieve? For a start, it isn't Nintendo who create it, it's Game Freak, Nintendo are just the publisher and the higher ups, Game Freak do all the work. And Fully patched ROMs are illegal as they still contain Game Freak copyrighted elements such as the Pokemon themselves, the system and the technology. Nintendo do not want any pirated versions of any of their games.
Putting it on Flash Carts can actually be discussed - people actually sometimes tailor hacks to work for Flash Carts too. It's another hazy subject, but then so is hacking completely if you're gonna use that argument. as we need to download a ROM.

If they are going to sell it, now THAT is where the forum frowns on them.
By the way, if someone does put Light Platinum onto a flash cart and it doesn't work, it might be a game problem as I got it working instantly, so they are entitled to ask in the thread.
Okay, I get it, thanks for explaining it to me. As for White Forest, I don't think I've seen patches of grass in there, since I don't play locally with other people.
That was exactly what I meant. I need to warn you beforehand though, I've only traded in the GTS before, so I've no idea why you're telling me about your Box 24 named Trades etc :D

And I have White, and I don't think I have any White exclusives right now, but like I said earlier, I can let you know if I catch any you'd still be interested in? I know that you're looking for swarm exclusives, but do you need main game exclusives too, like any of the Reuniclus or Braviary families?
Okay, so for some reason, I only saw your 2nd message now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you're suggesting is basically
    Feebas@PrismScale for Clamperl@Deepseatooth
    Huntail for Clamperl@Deepseascale
    Gorebyss for Milotic?
Thanks for all the tips! I already knew that it's only on Rt.1 and only in bubbling spots, and I tried the moving back and forth to get bubbling/shaking spots strategy, but after a few minutes of that with no bubbling spots showing up, I gave up and started fishing for Feebas. Highest I got was lvl 47, with lvl 55 being max.

Again, I really appreciate the message and the tips! I'm not actively hunting for swarms, but if I get a White exclusive swarm, I'll let you know if you want.
Yes, we have. I don't know who started your Fakemon definition but the only right Fakemon definition is the one I mentioned. Fakemons are not official fan made "Pokémon", not existing Pokémon added to older generations.
Yes, you are right, something was removed.
    And by the way...
Are you serious? So you are practically saying that original Pokémon are actually Fakemon if they replace existing Pokémon in III Gen games?
Sorry but that's pretty mad... Fakemon is a term for fanmade Pokémon that aren't official.
To sum it up, you are pretty much saying that you want to play hacks that consist only 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen Pokémon... that's pretty narrow selection if you ask me... ;) Not to mention you will soon be bored because you will be playing with the same Pokémon over and over ;)
Flora Sky has no Fakemon. There are two versions in order for all Pokémon to appear.
In both versions there are 386 Pokémon but the Pokémon are different.
And if you take all different Pokémon, you will get to the 649 number.
The problem is finding someone who is willing to trust me to clone it. Most people are very wary of being scammed especially when the only way to get the Pokemon is through an event. And I didn't clone the shinies in my shop. I rng'd every single one of those myself so they're all with my OT.
