When I play any ROM Hack I always talk to everyone, and battle every trainer. I've liked seeing what kind of trainers we've battled and Pokemon they used since 2003. Same for ROM Hacks starting in 2006. I like how everything is decapitalized in Dark Future like in the 5th generation of Pokemon, or like in Pokemon Sienna.

While Dark Future Beta 3 might be 10 hours long, it's not too complicated right? If I follow what people say in game then I can understand how to finish the Beta then.

What is your other favorite ROM Hack besides Dark Future? My favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon Platinum, it fixes everything wrong with Diamond and Pearl such as surf speed, Pokemon in Pokedex, difficulty, etc. It's an updated release that needed to be made. My favorite ROM Hack is Pokemon Azure Horizons, it has Torchic as one of the starters which becomes Blaziken, my favorite Pokemon, Hoenn music, decapitalization, everything is mixed up (except for the Parcel part at the beginning) and I don't really know what to expect next other than probably a water gym where you get to use Surf. The tile mix of Generation 3's tiles are great also since the third generation of Pokemon was my childhood.

Just wondering, what is favorite Pokemon game and Pokemon ROM Hack?

Just to clarify, what size are you wanting the banners to be? The size of the first banner I made that uses face shots, or the size of the second one that uses full battle sprites?

I already downloaded it and patched it today. If I play for two days for 5 hours, since 2 times 5 is 10, I can get the beta completed, and extra things for another weekend. Pokemon Dark Future does look good to be honest.

I was just speaking my opinion, and after seeing some gameplay I'd say it would still be a tie. I like both Dark Future and Snakewood, they both are fun, while I did say they were better than Crystal Dust, I'd have to say I like Crystal Dust too. It's my favorite fan made GSC remake,with Heart Gold and Soul Silver coming in first for my favorite GSC remakes, especially since they are official.

Also if I played Dark Future before Hack of the Quarter it would have probably been a tie between it and Snakewood, but better than Crystal Dust.

I found a sort of faster way to play through the 10 hours of Dark Future's Beta 3.1. I could play 5 hours on a Saturday and 5 hours on a Sunday. By the way does it really take 10 hours for the other sidequests? I plan on playing Dark Future next month and school for me starts soon.

Yeah, that's the same approach I used when translating Light Platinum. It was such a massive buzzkill the one time I had to restart my save file from the beginning because I'd messed something up and needed to retest earlier scripts. :P

I've honestly got a ridiculously huge backlog of games, so I probably won't play it all that soon. It's right at the top of my list the next time I feel like playing pokemon, though (at least, until B&W2 hits). I'm so tired of GBA generation hacks you have no idea. XD

I mean finishing day by day as in 14 days or 2 weeks playing for two hours to get it done.

Would you happen to know anything about creating music for Gen II?
Would it be possible to have music created in say, LSDJ and then inserted into Gold?

I read it few times and I still don't understand a single bit of it.
The only way I could is with a step by step walkthrough.

So I can take two weeks to finish it daily?
