I finished the first chapter! :D

But I have to go back and rewrite the ending because I quickly worked through it. I haven't done any writing for over a week now, and I just wanted to get somewhat back in the groove. I only wrote nearly 1200 words today.

It is kinda slow so far... although that's not very atypical of these contests, I suppose. But I don't think we're getting 17+ this time around. =p

I was thinking about your VM and realized that we never posted a story for the same event. Whether for SWCs or prompt events or anything, we've never battled against one another.

Some day, we need to just do our own battle!

Haha, I've only written two-thirds of the first chapter. That's a lot of first chapter!

Aw, I wish I could, but this weekend is really busy for me. That's one of the reasons why I'm not running the SWC. I'm going to be in work all weekend, and by the time I get home on Sunday afternoon from work, I crash. So I could write something, it'll just be not good.

Maybe next year.

Besides, I wrote 10,000 words of this 02 rewrite. I'm happy concentrating on that.

Or you get the people that claim to be the biggest fan ever! who don't remember any details that were in the book. And want previous adaptions to change to fit the movie. I will be absolutely pissed if the graphic novels change just so all versions of Ender have dark hair.

Seeing as how I just found a fic with the summary of "Summary: Davis dies and the digidestend don't care", it's safe to say that the fandom really doesn't like him.

I don't know why I didn't realize that about Pokemon and Digimon. Now it's clear why I prefer Digimon over Pokemon, particularly when it comes to writing fics. I'm all about exploring the characters and how they interact with each other. (That's why 02 is my favorite season to write about, since that's the season where "relationships with friends" is explored the most.)

Actually, I've never used A03 before. I've only visited the site once for a recommended fanfic. So I have no idea what it's like, only from what others have said about it. This is their Pokemon section, which will give you an idea.

We can cheer each other on to complete our fics in December. I'm hoping to have the first quarter of my Digimon fic done by the end of the year. There's only three chapters left to write, and I hope to get a chapter done each week.
