They were tournament legal, just a pain to play without LEGEND Box, and they weren't very viable. Only LEGEND that got any serious play was Rayquaza and Deoxys LEGEND because lightning type and fire type decks made it viable, and its Poke-Body gave you an extra prize for knocking a Pokemon out with it.

I've ended up with several, probably, but not because they were initially mine.

Well, your older ones are more likely to be fakes simply because that's when the craze was.

That's exactly what I didn't like the most about it. I do see the appeal in other reverse foils, though, as they're shiny things!

I think the multi-type LEGEND cards look much better than the monotype ones, especially the ones involving Raikou, Suicune, or Entei.
