    Sure I disagree. I don't like that he got rid of Mewtwo in Brawl. Or Roy. I also don't like that Snake is there.

    A better argument for not including an Animal Crossing villager would be that part of the point is that you can customize their look. Also why I'm not fond of people who say a Mii would be a good character

    Even within Smash they're seen as separate universes, sorta. Since there are "Paper Mario" trophies. Rather than just "Mario" with the paper look.

    And I think the Animal Crossing villager could work because of items. Shovel, slingshot, what have you. They're about as peaceful as Peach, and now she's smacking people with golf clubs

    I think there need to be an Animal Crossing character since they have an Animal Crossing course. Seems weird without a character to call it home.

    If Paper Mario breaks Sakurai's rules, really not sure why he ever let Dr. Mario, Young Link, and Toon Link in on the fray then. :p

    Ah, that's just ignorance from people who don't know that "magical girl" is actually a full genre that dates all the way back to the 1960's. Sailor Moon is popular, and rightfully so - it was really good and it's largely responsible for making magical girls popular in the west - but saying that anything ripped off Sailor Moon is an insult to both Sailor Moon and whatever's being targeted. I could explain why but it'd be very boring and probably long.

    I've never really heard that argument before, to be honest. There doesn't seem to be any base to it. In order for it to be a ripoff, then it would need to copy a considerable amount from it.

    It would certainly be interesting if they did, however, they've had four generations since Dark types were introduced to do that. I could see the Ekans line being more Dark-type than Rattata's though.
