Uh-oh. You've instigated a rant! :O
Take a moment to consider your target audience. Is this video meant to be a PC exclusive? Or are you sending this across the internet? What are the primary focuses of your videos? To showcase how you work? Or to teach your methods? Consider these things before doing anything to either video.
If I'm going to watch you videos, it would be to learn more. I don't make tags, so captions would be immensely helpful for me. That's how I personally would get the most out of them. That being said, I also believe your work stands out enough on it's own that it doesn't need to be watered down with explanation.
So, figure out who's going to watch these videos the most and what their needs are. If your videos are going to attract more advanced graphic artists from your area, than "dumbing it down" with captions will reduce their effectiveness tenfold. But, if you're going to be posting them on PC and that's where the majority of your views are coming from, I'd consider adding captions in an effort to educate us. You're a household name in A&D, and people here look up to you and your talent! They're going to want to emulate your style.. learn more about the classic Derozio tags. Captions will make it easier for them.
...I never really answered your question, did I? Despite how much I would gain from captions, let your tags do the talking.
