I'm still waiting for CoroCoro or Pokemon Smash or something to reveal the middle and final evolution stages of the Kalos starters. I'm hoping they do get awesome designs and/or secondary types.

No...GSC is for GSC. HGSS is for HGSS. So whichever category you enter, that Pokemon must be caught in one of those corresponding games.

Not quite. I don't really go information hunting until I'm about to get a game. I only get basic info like what kind of game and features. I get mainstream Pokemon games regardless. xD
