  • Yeah, I intend it to be an easter egg type thing. Triggered by talking to an unimportant NPC that triggers a sidequest, the reward being a flashback.

I'm also trying to see if implementing a lesser version of X/Y's EXP share system.
    See, that's what I figured.

In my mind, there's gonna have to be a routine that holds an instance of the party before the flashback.
With that active, change the value of the hero's OW to that of the OW in use in the flashback, and a givepokemon script that loads the party up with the desired Pokemon. At the end of the flashback, remove the Pokemon--I believe JPANN did something like this in a forced Nuzlocke sideshow he did. Then the ASM calls back the Pokemon stored in the instance mentioned at the beginning while resetting the OW's sprite value.

Do you think that would work, or..?
If I remember right you did something similar to this in one of your hacks, but I may be mistaken.

I was wondering if you could help me figure out how to make an event where I would be under a different sprite with a whole new party of Pokemon. At the end of the event, turn back into your original sprite with original party of Pokemon. So, it'd work like a flashback. I was wondering if you had any idea how to even start going about this.
Yeah, same here. I hate when the month of May arrives. I really dislike being the center of attention in most cases, even when I'm just with family. Guess it's just my introverted nature : /
...Uh, Jagold? Is it too late to say happy birthday? Haha, I noticed your profile says your 23 now. Man, you're really old! Only kidding~ :P
Yeah there's an annual fee, but it's five measly dollars. That's less than two cents a day! They're also going to have a free trial so we can transfer our Pokemon then be done with it without having to pay! It's very generous of them. :) It sucks that you can't afford the new generation yet :/ I recommend saving money. Watching a playthrough is nothing compared to playing with your Pokemon, battling in 3D, skating without a grid, and customizing your own character! But for now if you want to watch a playthrough I recommend JWittz's channel, I love that guy. :3
Aww, you remember! <3 Unfortunately, the Pokemon Bank doesn't release until December so I can't transfer him yet. But I do have the Blazikenite ready for when he does! How are you doing? Did you get X/Y yet?
Hi i have made the script and m stucked with it as its not working whn i step on the tile.pls see it in the last page of script help thread and tell me whts d problem with it?
I think so, check if there's a patch, if not, apply all changes said for Ruby and hope for the best. I've heard of working Ruby hacks with this.
Yes, for adding moves, as in creating, you must repoint the tables and disable one limit. I have the smallest clue of the limiter's location in ruby, but try adding without the limiter. Just follow the tutorials listed at the bottom of "4th gen and 5th gen move resources" those tutorials will hel yoi a bunch, just look in pge's ini for table locations. Enjoy
Yes, you must edit each manually (though my hacks are FR, I edited them manually and updated them too, unaware such a patch existed for FR)
Same when adding moves, when I did added 4th gen moves I had to repoint the table and all that, but the moves retain what they were originally
