Yeah, I see what you mean when you say it's a chore. Kanto in HG/SS just seems empty, and what makes it worse for me is that the music is underwhelming. (I didn't like the music in HG/SS in general as much as I did for the other games, but in Johto it was at least bearable.) In Kanto, though, it was almost painful to listen to, and didn't do the FR/LG soundtrack justice. Whenever I do play HeartGold, I always either have my DS on silent, or substitute with some music of my own.

And now I understand your frustration at the exclusion of Leaf. :P I walked into a Pokemon Center in some town, and talked to a man who said that "a boy" made Team Rocket go away, and at that point I remembered your fic about Leaf and thought her exact same lines: "I don't remember my name being Red! Granted, my skirt's red, but still..." Then, in Cerulean City, the bicycle salesman guy fondly remembered a boy who popularized his bicycle brand... and I was like fool it was me the whole time. Haha.

Hope you had fun at that anime convention. It sounds much more fun than what I'm doing, which is sitting at my desk all day and studying. I'm making my writing hiatus official until December; that doesn't mean I can't chat, only that I won't be writing. I'll VM you from time to time just to assure you that I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth. :P

I actually have a few figurines of them from back in the day! Ash, Misty, Jesse and James haha! I have to find them but still they're adorable! I want to get the box sets of the first two series of manga from the adventures/special line next

Yeah, I'm changing to Sci fi. Where girls can leap into the air and preform double kicks in guys faces! >:D Plus I think I've got the basics of the characters set out pretty well. :P

I didn't do too much for halloween, no one to do anything with haha! I actually just got a sailor moon plush that came out recently, and I got a dragonite one in the mail as well! I'm waiting for some eveelutions to arrive as well and a custom of a favorite character! They're all adorable and I got the sailor moon one for like $7 before shipping!
I have my little anime shrine up on my dresser, right in front are the pokemon manga I've just recently started collecting! Yay for collecting xD

hey i just added you back!! also i saw that; ikr about the trainer merch!! i love like 90% of the trainer designs and the only figure merch i've seen of any trainer was of N, which i still really want *__* but i would LOVE to have a hilda/touko or dawn figurine, those are my favorite ladies~

Mine is going to be set in Unova, I know every crook and cranny of that region and it has got such brilliant scenery. Plus it's perfect for a sci-fi-ie story. ^^
