  • The weird thing was that if I did find an area of free space, they would be overwrote by 00s after restarting the ROM. I was able to find a safe area soon after posting that message :\ Thanks for your help though! I would've been clueless without that part of your tutorial.
How did you find a pointer for free ram space in your HG/SS patch? I've tried many different offsets in the 0x3000000s and I've had no luck. I keep getting different glitches after every attempt.
Yeah, you def are. I could do some mapping back in return. How about that? :)
Ah I see. So you have to remove the limiter to make it play the cries beyond that? I see.
    Hmm... hey there. :>
Would you mind telling me how you found out how many blocks you needed to repoint when you were repointing the Pokédex data? Thanks :D
This is a bit late but could you explain this in more detail? Like provide an example script because I don't really understand. :x
That's not really true. While Java isn't as powerful as C/C++, it's still pretty good. For example, Minecraft is based on Java iirc.
C++ is an horrible language to learn if you are new tbh. I'd recommand Java.
    I'm sure you'll get better hopefully :P
