I've never made the Pokémon battlers animate, so I have no idea what to do.

I would just be patient man, Luka can help you far more than I can with getting GIFs to work properly. There are some other users here that can also help better than I, and I am sure they will help when they get a chance.

I've already played Phoenix Wright, but not the sequels yet... I like it as well!

That's cool. I got interest in this game one year and a half ago, but started playing half a year ago.
I think I liked the setting and the idea of the Reaper's Game.
It's one of my favorites though I've not finished playing it yet. There's a lot of post game things and I didn't have enough time to play.
It has a lot of surprises. Hope you like it! =)

I love my 3DS for that. <3 And emulators for older games, of course, yeah! Wouldn't have a way to play my amazing GBC/GBA Pokemon without it. :C
