Honestly it's worth your while to actually check out and linkandzelda and bela are two of the nicest people I've ever met on the community, but it's not useful for actually hacking unless you have something to show off because it suffers from 12 year old kid syndrome :P

Well in fairness the hacking scene is bigger in South America/Spain than it is over here in the UK or in the US :P
I guess I haven't really learned enough Spanish to go over there to look for help. I tried looking for help on romhack.me and it worked for a while but the people there are a lot like people here; they're great to talk to but ****ing useless unless you're really popular. :P

Hmm wellm I'm thinking of making my entire soundtrack just piano, bass and drums...I have Sibelius, do you know if soundfonts are an issue?

I think we should all basically stick together with our plots and everything, honestly I'm hoping sometime in the future a big name in hacking actually makes a thread about the disparity among the hacking scene here.

Honestly, I think that if I try and do it more independently (i.e. ask other sources for help, maybe do the commission thing) it might work out :P I kind of just think that the whole hacking scene needs an overhaul though. Too many kids not knowing what they're doing and too many ignorant twats not helping the people who need it.

It's true; besides the three mainstream hacks no one really cares... it's a shame because a lot of the nlittle ones have such amazing talent and they're stuck in development hell. It's like living in LA as an actor, it's a complete lottery, and some people with barely any talent get so big (I'll be honest I once helped a 'mainstream hack' back when it sucked and I just didn't put any thought into it because I thought it was ****....look where it is now) v.v

It's because the industry is littered with 12 year old kids who just discovered they can change the maps in FireRed and give everyone an AWSUM CHARZARD :-D whilst the people who have genuine ideas get voerlkooked because everyone judges them as those kids. They have to learn everything themselves. v.v

You know, as much as i hate to say this, my life has become really busy and i don't know if i can do much, i only have one sprite for you in the long length of the time i can, give that to you but otherwise i sugest you get omeone with more free time than me... :(
