Sounds good to me. Also sounds like you and I entered feeling the same way about where we'd end up at the end XD. I hadn't even played SC2 for the longest time before the tourney, I just figured it'd be a way to try and meet more people on PC, as I've recently tried to get back into using it. Sucks that all my online interactions are pretty much limited to the PC though, especially with the wi-fi shutdown for the original DS and Wii.

I'm off work until Thursday, so whatever time frame between now and then that's good for you. To be honest, this stage of the game, I'm not really too worried about placing XD.

Seems you and I are matched once again to determine third place in the SC2 tourney.

Back in E3 2013, during GF's Q&A interview regarding XY, someone commented if they'll use Mewtwo's new form in SSB. Masuada didn't want to discuss about any Pokemon-related info from other games, but Sakurai, who was sitting with the rest of the audience, shouted out that he's "thinking about it." It gave the community a hint that he's considering on bringing back Mewtwo.

My best explanation about having less newcomers is because of a the way the roster is organized. Notice how a new row is added in each installment (64 had 2, Melee had 3, Brawl had 4); we're expecting five rows, which why we have 5 Mario reps again. Then there's the columns, which has been 9 since Melee. Since one slot is being used for the random button from Brawl, which hasn't been confirmed for return yet, I'm expecting about 9 characters to fill in those spots. So far 5 newcomers are confirmed; that means we only have 4 slots left for the newcomers + Mewtwo.

The whole "roster will be as large as Brawl" is actually a misconception. What Sakurai meant is that there will be less newcomers than last time, and he's more focused on balancing Brawl's roster. We're expecting about 45-49 characters in total, and having only 35 again would be disappointing, because you're basically playing Brawl 2.0 rather than its own game. You should visit Smashboards more often; they're speculation analysis are amazing, aside from a couple of joke threads you'll encounter here and there.

Last week, Sakurai had already mentioned that he doesn't care about the console war and just wanted to create fun games. He also praised the PS4's hardware.

Ah, in that case he indeed won cause you couldn´t do anything anymore with that probe (200 minerals isn't enough to do anything useful with only a Pylon).

To be fair, this would encourage more use of berries (forgot its name) to remove the confusion status and use a SE move on the pranksters.
