As a resident of Texas, I'd say it's a fun place to visit. Lots of good universities, and the people here are... Interesting, to say the least. Never been to the other two you listed, but my father's been to Chicago multiple times on business and has pointed out how cold it is there on numerous occasions, haha!

I'm pretty sure we got more than 5 inches lol. I meant like, it didn't snow as much as it usually does. Now that I think it about it, it has been like that for some time now :/

Shovelling is so taxing too. I'm around 6'3", so the shovels I use make it hard for me to keep bending down in an awkward position

I highly recommend Rune Factory 3 or Rune Factory 4; both are fantastic! And yes, I love the Tales series, especially Symphonia and Hearts~

Hello there. not so good, i'm afraid. Apparently, it's noontime here and i'm pretty cranky since my sister's annoying shouts and max-volume high-pitched voice has awoken me halfway from sleep a few hours ago *steam* thanks for asking.

Ehhhh, not in Vancouver lol. We don't get that much snow. Actually, I think I really only had to shovel my driveway about 4 times maximum and this was over the course of 2 days. So I guess it was a light winter lol.

No, I'm not much of a TV person. And I don't have cable.

I mean I'm a little worried that I won't live up to my job's expectations but not really scared. I'm already living in my own apartment, cooking for myself and my boyfriend all the time, taking care of a normal life, so it's only work that will be new.

It's a bit of both! It's like Harvest Moon in that you can farm, date/get married/have kids (though it isn't required in the most recent RF game), and raise animals (or monsters in this case), but you can also go exploring dungeons and fighting monsters and crafting materials and so forth.
