see i did just fine switching from 4kids pokemon to subs due to the voice change in season 9 but otherwise i dont think i would have watched subbed at all really. besides maybe the movies because wow do they cut a lot out of there

i tend to pay a lot of attention to tones and vocal cues in japanese even though i barely understand enough to gollow pokemon with subs haha. i do know enough to see when subs go pretty wrong in translation tho

mm yeah i tend to stick with subbed just due to generally better voice acting and scripts but i dont mind dubmost of the time. especially the dubs i grew up with- pokemon, yugioh, sailor moon, code lyoko (not an anime but originally french haha)

see i still watch and talk about the pokemon anime a lot so i know the actors- ofc moreso the japanese actors lately because i tend to watch subbed

Yeah I really only remember those that do main characters or those I recognize often. Like I know most of the 4kids Pokemon actors haha

Yeah, it is very very verrrrry time consuming. Do you play X/Y? If so, you're probably already aware how much more common shiny pokemon are in them hahah. Between breeding ones, and horde encounters, plus that new 'chaining' technique I don't really understand, there's actually ways to get them a lot now. What other shiny OC's did you have?
