Yeah, some EMs are useless, but sometimes you breed it on and later you can use it to breed it onto a Pokemon you want it on.

Like right now, I'm breeding Fake Out onto Sneasel. I already bred it onto Buneary, so now I can breed it simply instead of leveling another Pokemon up.
