I'm pretty sure that the mega stones for Sharpedo and Camerupt will be version exclusive. Sharpedo for AS and Camerupt for OR. I personally don't like Camerupt (it looks really weird to me) so I'd gladly trade its megastone for Sharpedo :p.

You know what I'm really looking forward to? Mega Metagross. That thing will be absolutely beast. Currently my Metagross's held item is a Choice Band making its attack even more impressive, but I'm sure that when it megaevolves the attack will shoot up anyway.

I do breed now, but only Generation 6 Pokemon since I can usually get any Gen 5 or lower Pokemon I want.

I didn't like Team Plasma much because they seemed so preachy about something that probably shouldn't even be a concern in a fantasy world revolving around owning Pokemon (they were preachy about owning Pokemon xD). I mean, if I wanted to hear about the oh so terrible effects of owning animals I could just go visit some PETA website and be done in a few minutes!

I just wish Team Flare shared Lysandre's views and mindset, and that Lysandre had actually chosen his team members based upon whether they met his requirements on what it meant to be a good and useful person. With such people and ideals joined together, you have one dangerous team that could essentially be the Pokemon world's version of Nazis or other supremacist groups, but I guess that the reasoning behind GF's decision to make 95% of Team Flare these silly orange suit people was that such a thing would be too dark for a children's game :/...

So, do you still battle much? I remember when we used to battle, I'd always lose xD. I was still new to the whole competitive scene and had no idea how IVs, EVS, and Natures worked so I'd only battle with Pokemon that I leveled up by defeating the highest leveled pokemon I could find in game.
I'm much more versed in that stuff now though. I breed for Natures and IVs (made much easier this generation, thank God), and I EV most/all of my pokemon now. I have a better chance of winning now because of that, but I still lose a lot since my teams are just mix and matched with Pokemon I feel like battling with at the time.

Houndoom's Mega Evolution looks amazing, I'm pretty sure its one of the best designs out there right now! I've got a Houndoom named Persephone and her megastone as well, but sadly I haven't been able to make good use of her in battles. The last few times she has battled haven't been too nice :(...

I never really liked Gen 5 much either :/. I don't know why, but everything just seemed really tasteless and clunky. I never even bothered to replay White 1, and I never touched Black 2 after finishing the main storyline.
I think the main things I didn't like were the characters and starter pokemon. The music was "meh" (save for N's and Ghetsis' themes) and I never found Unova that appealing in design.

Now like I said, Gen 6 was amazing. Good characters, good villain, neat new pokemon, music, and the awesome mega evolutions! I think Team Flare could have been better though, because most of it was just stupid members that dressed up in orange suits and probably only joined because the name sounded cool. The male characters could have also used some more fashion choices <_<...

But either way 6 was awesome!

I had Ruby for the GBA, and I personally like Groudon's design much better than Kyogre's.

Oh yeah, I'll have to think about the Facebook thing. It isn't that I don't want to add you, but the last time added a friend I made online my parents wweren't too happy. Terrible experience after that :(, but since I'm older now I don't think they'd question me much. I will PM you over this once I've come to a conclusion though!

Holy crap, really? Dang, it's been a quick 4 years then, I can still remember those old times when we'd just talk about random things... and slap each other with fish and all other sorts of aquatic animals :p.

So what do you think of the new generation? I personally like it, Pokemon Y was a fantastic game and the only other Pokemon game I've thoroughly enjoyed since Heart Gold (I'll admit, HG was my first Pokemon game, but it was a great intro to the games!). I can't wait to see how Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby play out! I've already preordered my copy of OR, which one are you getting?

I like it how they've brought back the old types of summoning such as fusion, Syncho, and XYZ summoning.
Btw did you ever noticed that Reshiram was a Blue-eyed white dragon, and Zekrom a Red-eyed black dragon? Funny how Kyurem's formes are a fusion, and the next games were XY lol...strange coincidence...

I knew it was from Yugioh. Well no wonder I didn't know who he was, Zexal was the only season I never saw an episode of.
