  • Oh wow, you're rolling in Diancie :P That's actually good to know since I'm working on completing the Pokédex and will at some point need to do some trading, so thanks for the info!
Don't feel bad, it's cool, at least you're here now :D Not too much, kinda just browsing the forum for now, you?
Hi, thanks for the answer. I was originally going to buy a Japanese Emerald but just changed my mind on American FireRed. Although I did want that Japanese Emerald lol.
It's tricky territory because in severe cases you do want to help, because they don't know how to communicate their issues to others, but in milder cases its more of a difficulty than being complete incapacitated, and a difficulty can be worked around - and people with ASD also have some advantages in the way they think. It's all very tricky territory because of course there's no line between completely incapacitated and major difficulty.

    Thanks for understanding though.
Yeah ASD is weird territory. It's generally a good idea to avoid charities involving ASD unless they're explicitly only helping children/adults/families obtain resources/therapy whatever that they need, because there's a huge divergence on how autism should be handled in society.

A major problem with a lot of autism charities is that they try to sell this idea of "curing autism", but it's neurological, so by doing that you're essentially erasing what made that person a person. People kind of view it like a lobotomy, except that you seem to function "normally". Some people think that ASD in most cases should be treated as a different function than an improper function, and I personally feel that ASD isn't really a bad thing as long as the individual is able to communicate with others and the others in question respect the boundaries of the person with ASD.

Autism Speaks has an absolutely atrocious track record, and even though I usually avoid linking from tumblr due to some crazy **** on there, this post is a pretty good resource of their ********. I can't understand how people can honestly defend an organization that thinks it's okay to make ads that feel bad for the parents and saying they'd rather have their kid dead while the kid is in the room. It's ****ed up ****.

    So yeah, it's complicated.
    From the Fraternities/Sororities thread...

I don't want to be That One Guy but A$ is actually a really awful organization and most autistic people hate them. They advocate for things that in general the autism community is against, and have treated the one and only autie on their board like garbage.

    They're a pretty **** organization so yeah. :P
Yo, I posted some stuff in the staff forum about challenge event next month if you want to check it out.
    Um...you is a bit tho.

And yeah, my signature gifs actually stopped working. It was so weird. So I decided to switch to what I may LP! :D
Sydian I saw your shiny horsea/emboar trade offer on the quick trade trend and I'd like to offer my shiny plusle for one of them. (There's no evs) If you deny I understand
    Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    Syyyyyyyyyyyyyyyd
Why is you moderator of stuff now?
I liked it when it said "moderator of all" LOL
    Y
Really? What a coincidence! I took Frog to Spekkio as soon as possible, since I wanted to see what magic he would learn. Since then I've kept him in my party with the exception of some Side Quests. I've also kept Magus in my party, once again, with the exception of the side quests. Frog's a great character since he can use both offensive and healing magic. Marle's obviously the healer, but I like frog better since he knows "Heal" which Target's all allies.

I had over 100,000 gold at that point, so it wasn't a problem for me either. I agree with you on that one though. If you're children grow up to be stingy then you did something wrong. :P
