That does suck. I honestly think that all games should at least have rebindable controls, since I often find myself reconfiguring the controls whenever I play games. I don't like using arrow keys either since I'm so accustomed to using WASD + Mouse controls on PC games.
Yeah, after this game I'm going to make a game called Abandon. It's about three teenagers who are stranded on a seemingly abandon Island after a cruise ship crashes. (One character has an appearance that I stole based on the outfit you would have to a female character if you designed her.) It's short and sweet, but has 10 endings, and other features to encourage multiple playthroughs.
The Next game I'm going to make is called Ethergears. (And it's the new one I came up with.) It has an anime inspired art style, but that is still unique. (And is even incorperated into the gameplay itself!) It's a Sci-Fi Fantasy Dungeon Crawler set in a Cyberpunk Future where the protagonist explores the Abandoned underground city where the entire area is controlled by gears. Even passages and hallways. The Protagonist, however, can control the gears and manipulate the entire map because of it.
Then I'm going to make Blood of the thousand. This is a long, epic RPG about the thousand year war that has torn the world apart. The protagonist gains a sword that give him supernatural abilities, but as a payoff it drags that wielder into madness.
