Ah, hi. Are you available here? I really need to know whether I can get Super Smash Bros 4 (or any of the Pokémon games for that matter) without contributing money to the Anime, since I'm boycotting the anime.

You indicated the Anime plays very little role in advertising the games, right? I must ask this: Does that mean I can buy the Pokémon games/Super Smash Bros. WITHOUT worrying about any money going to the Pokémon Anime? I only want to know because I'm trying to boycott the Anime (let's just say that the reasons involve Misty's removal and leave it at that), and I don't want to violate my boycott of the Anime unless I'm absolutely certain that getting Pokémon-related things has no impact in any way on the Pokémon Anime, especially giving the Anime profit.

EDIT: I need to know before March 31st because that's the deadline for the DLC for Mewtwo, and to a lesser extent registering any games made before January of this year onto Club Nintendo.

"Hometown Rebuilding Folktales from Japan" doesn't appear to be a show that has a big merchandise.

Naruto (although there's the mini-history of his son is there and it probably will have an anime) is expected to end in 8 months. In general, when the anime has an ending on the horizons, Tv Ratings are less relevant.

Aikatsu anime is still airing, athough it had new characters right now.

What i wanted to ask (and you didn't) is specualte why Ash is alone int the movie? Also, to see how relatively popular are Ash's travelling companions.

Also, having a team of:
-Pikachu, talonflame, Greninja, Hawlucha, Goodra and a Mega looks badass. Goodra (even with handicap for a while) is going to happen, I see zero reason to not evolve Frogadier and little to not evolve Fletchlinder.

If the badass teams happens before Gym 7 and Ash gets a Mega Stone, which could happen this year. I think that the anime has made a big mistake by not promoting OR/AS and not promoting Mega Evolution enough.

Aso, if we exclude 95% of TR battles, the characters with most battles are expected to be:
-1) Ash.
-2) Alain
-3) Korrina (and yes, I expect her to return).

however, one note: pokemon episodes are made 6-8 months in advance. Given that we know Data Broadcast and that Sligoo evolves through rain, the Sliggo episode won't happen in Ash vs Clemont (being likely that the Ash would likely not happen until the 2nd week of April).

In reality (and now i think it's pretty clear), Ash and Pikachu are going alone for the entire movie.

The question is, why Serena, Clemont and Bonnie are not going to be part ?

Speculation: Some of those characters could leave early. Having a movie where 80% of it is Ash and pikachu alone has the sensation that those characters are going to be irrelevant after the movie.

I had the sensation that Clemont, Bonnie and Serena are going to pay the lower popularity of XY. It also doesn't help that Clemont may be useless after the Clemont's Gym battle and that Serena has had a drought for so long that when they she started doing something, it was too late.

I think that Ash is still popular and has had great writing in XY.
And I think that XY will ened properly, because, even if they actually losing money:
-For dignity. Given that the anime has been in the air for so long and that the games is still popular (although OR/AS is more sold outside Japan) it makes little sense to (at least) not end the XY saga.
-I think that for the anime to end, they had to stop airing Get TV and close the majority of Poekmon Center before even thinking of dropping the anime entirely.
-it may be defeated by Youkai Watch almost every week, but at least it's supposed to still have better ratings thsan the things of Naruto (although that's ending soon), Aikatsu, tamgotchi, Gundam, Yu-gi-oh, Card Fight, etc (many of those shows are lucky if they get a 2.
