Unfortunately we've hit a sort of low with activity, but we're hoping to build it back up. As a region owner, you can do whatever you want with the region. One of the regions has a ROM hack that you can play in. There are a few regions (including mine, soon) that have interactive games you can play if you join. Most of them are fanfics, but the difference is that you can interact with other regions and collaborate to solve problems, so it's really cool.

Well of course I didn't assume you'd go along and kill off my character without permission. That's a given. My point is that I have no clue whether I'd want my character, that I've gotten no chance to develop or even begin writing with, to kick the bucket at the moment. Of course I have plans for them but one of those doesn't involve death, so I say we go along as you intend. If I feel Ali should go out in a blaze of glory, I'll let you know later.

Uhh... I'm not exactly looking forward to killing off a character that I created just a day or so ago. I'd probably wait until we begin to start considering death and the like.

I've always gravitated towards writing. I used to write a lot of fiction based on the Lord of The Rings. I was on a Minecraft forum a while ago and started roleplaying there. I would ask you but I saw your post in the thread about it : P

Something like that , stupid 'prestige' wars. :P I think it's mostly freshmen who care about that kinda thing, couple years into college and you'll know there isn't really much difference in the quality of education between the two schools - UBC's just the 'bigger name' in BC. I'm a psych major focusing on neuroscience, and yep, in my third year. c:

It's a fair bit warmer here compared to other parts of Canada, so no snow yet but it's starting to drop into the negatives (Celsius if you're coming from the US).

I do hope you get into the program! Sounds pretty competitive though, I wish you luck. :) What instrument(s) do you play, or is it more of a general music studies kind of course?
