  • Ummm... hello Touched. Can you help me implement the mega evolution effect on my fire red hack? I can't do ASM that much and I was hoping you'd do it for me... can you? Please?
    Hi there, I made a tool that manipulates OWs and I'd like to make it support your engine, DSLN, and its extended OWs feature. I read through the source code in your GitHub and I'd appreciate it if you'd help me clarify some things.

    In the npc_get_template.s the code goes in the 'table_lookup' only if in r0 we had either a pointer (to an extended OW?) or the ID of an extended OW. Now if understood correctly the extended ID consists of two bytes. So, when entering table_lookup r1 would have the most significant byte and r0 the less significant of the ID respectively.

    So here are my questions:

    >In the table_lookup why do you calculate the OW's address for both r0 and r1?

    >owtable = 0x80505620 which is the address of the original OW table. That means that it will try to load the address of the Ow structure, of the corresponding OW, from the Original table. But if thats true where am I supposed to insert my pointer for an extended OW

    >Why would r0 have a pointer in the first place

    Any kind of help or advise would be really appreciated :)
    Hey bro, i have one question if you know done. I extend the trainer sprite table and sprite pallete table (FIRE RED), but the game crash when it appear, you know where is the offset the change of break limiters ?
    Hi Touched. Just found asmagix today (yes, late bloomer). It seems really useful and I wish I knew it existed earlier, but I haven't been able to get it to do anything.

    I made a folder with asmagixfile.json and ran asmagix init to create build, roms, and src.
    I placed a clean ROM in roms.
    And for the src folder, I used your example of a .s file to test it out that looks like:

    I think I've inserted the codes properly as there're several changes and new codes in the test.gba ROM. (I created a BPRE0.gba ROM and after that I just run the python script :/)
    However, When I opened the ROM, there's just a fat guy following me and his movement is not very perfect.
    Would you mind telling me more things about how to use your follow me? I'm really confused at this point. Thanks.

    Oooh, sounds pretty nasty porting the routines. By the way, have made further progress/improvements on your mega evolution, primal reversion and wish C code? Or you busy with something else? ^_^
    This is what I have to modify, is that right? And are there anything else in the files I have to modify before installing it again?

    And on a sidenote. I hope you don't find this offensive of some sort. This post by kleenexfeu, does it work the same way as yours does in Fire Red, just in ASM form? I honestly want to try this as well, but for FR. Just that, I don't know which parts of the codes I have to change.
    Touched, I just dropped by to ask if I can repoint the bulk of code that's compiled in your Mega Evolution Hack? If I can, which pointers should I repoint?
    If you created the test, but like I said I'm supposed to put the decimal of the item and the teeth golden is not it ?, when I put both, of course I have to put the item in the Pokemon equipped, but when I try mega evolve anything.
    What happens is that when I put the item of evolution , it seems the mega stone, or rather the icon, and aprito start and nothing happens, I'm supposed to put up with the G3T number inten Decimal have the gold teeh or something true.
